A 30mph speed limit is to be introduced on an experimental basis from the Almodington Lane junction with Mapsons Lane right through Almodington and Earnley and up Clappers Lane. Please observe all the new speed limits in the village, it makes for a better and safer environment.
The Speed Commitment campaign held during 2001 has been a great success with about 65% of the village population signing a pledge to stick to speed limits and drive safely at all times. As is self evident the Parish Council now has a web site, Eventually this was created without outside help and therefore will only cost a minimal amount i.e.. The cost of the domain name and the use of it as a pointer site, over a two year period this will amount to about £60. Please pass this information on to your friends, also feel free to make comments in the guest book about the site or any other matters.
