EARNLEY ANNUAL PARISH MEETING

MINUTES OF ANNUAL PARISH MEETING FOR THE PARISH OF EARNLEY HELD AT THE EARNLEY CONCOURSE ON 27th MAY 2009

PRESENT: Cllrs Robert Norris (Chairman), Michael Karn and Michael Harrington.

In attendance: Mrs Louise Chater (Clerk to the Council), County Cllr Pieter Montyn District Cllr Graeme Barrett, PCSO Ann Bromley and two members of the public.

Apologies for Absence: Cllr Chris Bayley, Lindsay Nugent, District Cllr Peter Clementson.

A01.09 CHAIRMAN’S WELCOME

The Chairman welcomed everybody to the Annual Parish Meeting

A02.09 MINUTES FROM THE 2008 MEETING

On a proposal by Cllr Karn it was resolved to agree and sign the minutes of the meeting held on 28th May 2008; this was duly completed.

A03.09 ANNUAL REPORT FROM THE PARISH COUNCIL

The Chairman of the Parish Council gave a comprehensive report on the work of the Parish Council during 2008-09.

A04.09 FINANCIAL POSITION OF THE COUNCIL

The Clerk reported that the Parish Council was in a sound financial position at the year ended 31 March 2009 The summary situation was:

Opening Balance as at 1 April 2008 £3504.19

Add Receipts in the year £ 4371.60

Less Payments in the year £5909.92

Closing Balance per cash book as at 31 March 2009 £1965.87
